Can Europe deliver the hydrogen refuelling network needed by 2030? The EU’s Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) requires publicly accessible hydrogen refuelling stations no more than 200 km apart along the TEN-T core network by the end of 2030, alongside at least one station in each urban node. But what will it take to turn those requirements into a working network?
