ABOUT THE ROLE
Pressure Tech are recognised globally for manufacturing high-quality pressure regulators, supported by a worldwide network of Authorised Resellers.
Our products are used throughout the world with 70% being exported for use on critical high-pressure control systems such as wellhead control panels, gas analyser systems, hyperbaric diving systems and the latest hydrogen technology.
Established in 2000, a family business based in the North-West UK, we pride ourselves on having the technical know-how and professionalism typically associated with larger corporate companies.
To support our continued global expansion, we now have a vacancy for a European Business Development Manager to join our team.
DUTIES INCLUDE
  • In conjunction with the Sales Manager and Marketing Manager, establish annual sales targets overall and for individual personnel/territories to achieve the Company’s growth plans.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to the resellers to increase their competence and productivity.
  • Develop a sales strategy to identify and exploit the most profitable national markets through direct sales and resellers.
  • Carry out own sales and customer support activity to maximise sales revenues.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for customers and the Company.
  • Provide regional management information on a regular basis to inform the Sales Manager of progress against targets, to plan future activity and to aid production scheduling.
  • Be aware of existing quality procedures and work within the guidelines of ISO 9001.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Strategic planning
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Plan and prioritise workload according to business needs.
  • Focused on achieving results and targets.
  • Build productive relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Uses initiative to drive business and meet customer needs.
  • In depth knowledge of pressure regulators.
  • Ability to use Window applications and MS Office.
  • Proven external sales skills.
